When I wrote "All I Want Is Hope and Nothing More" I was in the middle of a deep dive into the Romantic poets of the early 19th century. Their search inward for the meaning and purpose of the self really resonated with me. Coupling this theme with what I feel is a desperately driven musical canvas, I like to think I created a 21st century message of hope and salvation.
